HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL OF THOSE WONDERFUL DADS OUT THERE!!!

*We* (steff and family) celebrated EARLY this year, due to work schedules, etc. Here's what we got "daddy".....a fire pit!! "So the family can sit around makin' memories together" ... this is what Kord (our oldest, 9) said!! I'm glad I listened to him - all week long we've had the BEST evenings....roasting marshmallows, grillin' hot dogs, tellin' stories and jokes....catchin' fLIER flies (also known as FIRE flies!!)and doin' other "red neck" things with our "pit"!!!

Thought ONLY our Scrappin' BLOG readin' friends could REALLY appreciate THIS post......just to LOOK at this photo - you see the 7 year old BOY enjoying his summer break....LIVING in his bathing suit, PROBABLY un-bathed for nearly a week, cute with his lil' rubber rain boots on!! ........... but if you really scan the photo.....in the background (don't look TOO closely at the messy garage!!)....but way in the back, hanging on the wall........notice anything??? How many WONDERFUL "scrubbies" / Daddies out there would hang this in their MANLY garage!??!.....if you have one of these wonderful men in your lives....take a second to tell them TODAY how important they are to you!!! I will!~

I found these Father "quotes" from THIS website...just googled fathers day quotes...thought they might inspire you, help you with a title for a layout, help with a hand made card, or help to reflect on your OWN father!! ~enjoy...

A father is someone that
holds your hand at the fair
makes sure you do what your mother says
holds back your hair when you are sick
brushes that hair when it is tangled because mother is too busy
lets you eat ice cream for breakfast
but only when mother is away
he walks you down the aisle
and tells you everythings gonna be ok

He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.

A man never stands as tall as when he kneels to help a child.
Fathers Day Quote by: Knights of Pythagoras

4 years: My Daddy can do anything!
7 years: My Dad knows a lot…a whole lot.
8 years: My father does not know quite everything.
12 years: Oh well, naturally Father does not know that either.
14 years: Oh, Father? He is hopelessly old-fashioned.
21 years: Oh, that man-he is out of date!
25 years: He knows a little bit about it, but not much.
30 years: I must find out what Dad thinks about it.
35 years: Before we decide, we will get Dad's idea first.
50 years: What would Dad have thought about that?
60 years: My Dad knew literally everything!
65 years: I wish I could talk it over with Dad once more.
